Sitti recently said she’s with a new management firm which she believes will help her accomplish more and grow in her chosen field.
“I just moved to Backroom in late October. I’m happy that I’m now with Tito Boy’s [Abunda] team. It’s an honor to be in his roster of talents. We will meet before the year ends to plan out my career moves for 2009. I trust Tito Boy and I’m satisfied with how they run my career so far,” she reveals.
Last Dec. 17, Sitti was in a Christmas concert at the Music Museum titled An Evening in December with Sitti. She had Christian Bautista, Richard Poon, and the Hiyas ng Pilipinas Children’s Choir as guests. Definitely, it was an evening of music, fun and relaxation. Those who watched the show really had a good time.
Sitti’s Christmas album titled Ngayong Pasko under Warner is also doing very well at the market.
“I’m so elated that two weeks after its release, it has already reached the Gold Record mark. That’s why I’m more inspired to do mall shows in line with the album’s promotion.”
Meanwhile, Sitti shed light on the rumor linking her to topnotch comedian-dancer Vhong Navarro when she was in ASAP’s Guam presentation sometime in November. Many noticed that Vhong was allegedly throwing extra attention on her during that time.
“There’s no truth in it. Vhong is basically sweet to all his co-workers, not just with me. And one more thing, we’re both happy with our respective love life, he, with Desiree [del Valle] and I, with my non-showbiz boyfriend. That rumor is baloney,” clarified the 24-year-old singer.
